What are your production times?

We are a small family run company, and all of our products are bespoke, and lovingly made to order in regional Victoria, Australia.  Please allow 5-6 weeks for production PLUS delivery for all products. This includes wallpaper samples.

We are currently unable to expedite orders.

Please note that turnaround times may be longer than stated: after a sale, in the lead up to Christmas, and over the Christmas holiday period, and when we take a holiday/vacation.

How will my products be shipped?

Our large wallpapers are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a long rectangular box via either https://www.packsend.com.au/ or  https://auspost.com.au/

Our decals and smaller wallpapers are either shipped in a tubes or rigid mailers via https://auspost.com.au/.

We require your full name, email address, telephone number and shipping address for all orders. No PO boxes for full sized wallpapers.

You will receive a shipping notification and tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.  

We pay for insurance via Pack and Send on all full-sized wallpapers to protect our product and your purchase.

However, Minnie and Me Interiors cannot take responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items. Please visit Australia Post for their delivery Terms & Conditions.

Domestic:

We offer free shipping on orders over $150 Australia wide. On orders under $150, we offer a $10 flat rate shipping Australia wide.

Standard post: Please allow up to 10 business days depending on location. For a more information please use the Australia Post delivery time calculator  or track your parcel using the link sent to you.  Please be aware there are currently postal delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

International:

We will post internationally, though we charge freight storewide. 

As all countries have different duties and taxes, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to investigate if any duties are payable on overseas orders.  Customers from the European Union: you will incur taxes, you will be responsible for these charges, which are determined by your local customs authority.  Minnie and Me Interiors is not responsible for any further shipping, insurance or import charges once your item has left us in Melbourne, Australia.

Do you offer returns & exchanges?

Our wallpaper and wall decals are made to order; therefore, we do not provide returns or exchanges.

Of course, if there is a fault in the fabric or print production, we may provide a replacement, however this is at our discretion.

If you have a concern with your order please contact us as soon as possible after you receive it.

If you are unsure if our wallpaper or wall decals will work in your space, please purchase an A3 wallpaper sample in the first instance, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

If you do not feel confident installing the wallpaper, please utilise the services of a professional wallpaper installer. We offer an installation service in Melbourne and surrounds.

We are unable to replace products or provide refund for products that have been incorrectly installed.  Please read our product information, safety policy, wallpaper installation instructions and/or wall decal installation instructions thoroughly, before installing our products.

Why is my wallpaper/decal colour different to the screen?

Please allow for slight variance in colour to what may be displayed on some screens.

I love your wallpaper and wall decals, but I don’t know how to style them in my home, can you help?

We sure can.  We offer a decorating service, but Kristy is also more than happy to assist customers with ideas on how to style their wallpaper, free of charge. Check out our Decorating Services.

Do you engage in collaborations?

We are currently closed for collaborations due to COVID-19.  Please check back later in 2020.

Do you offer trade discounts?

We offer trade discounts for designers, stylists, content creators and associated businesses. Please contact us to apply for your 20% off storewide discount.  We offer this discount in exchange for promotion and tags on socials. Please send us an email to apply.

Do you offer wholesale?

How do I measure for wallpaper?

Measure your wall in centimetres.  Measure the width from left to right, at both the top [ceiling] and bottom [floor] (as most walls are not perfectly square). Then measure the height from the ceiling to floor, on both the left and right (include architraves and skirting). 

If there is a door or window in the wall you wish to wallpaper, simply pretend that it is not there and measure the whole wall, including the door or window. This ensures that the pattern remains seamless around all the door or windows. On installation, you can simply trim around it using relief cuts. You can use the left-over wallpaper for something fun (e.g. at the back of a wardrobe or shelving).  The only time that this instruction may differ; is when the door is on the left or right of the wall and has a small space above it. Send us an email to discuss options if this is the case.

It is important that you accurately measure your wall, as your wallpaper is made to the measurements that you provide us (plus small bleeds to allow for wall warping). We are unable to change your wallpaper once it has been made, so please CHECK and DOUBLE CHECK before ordering.

If you have measured incorrectly, and you require extra wallpaper, please contact us to discuss. Please note that you will be charged if you require extra wallpaper pieces.

When entering your measurements at check out, always allow a little extra, it is better to have excess, which you can trim later.

Do you require wallpaper for more than one wall? Please get in touch to discuss how to apply your wallpaper around the walls/ around corners. We will happily advise you on how best to order and install your installation, and arrange a specialised quote for you.

Please tell me more about your wallpaper…

Our full sized wallpapers (including half walls) wallpapers are custom made/ made to order. Please enter your measurements in centimetres (height x width) at checkout, and we will prepare your wallpaper to your wall size. Your wallpaper will be delivered in drops or panels; the maximum width of 1 drop is 120cm.  Commonly, our customers require 3 drops.  We will endeavour to provide you with equal drops. We prefer larger drops to avoid multiple joins, unlike wallpaper rolls, which are often a much smaller width.  We routinely provide a 1cm overlap on each panel as well as a 5cm overhang on the base and end panel to allow for any inaccuracies in wall shape, and human error in measuring, and to ensure a perfect seamless finish. The excess can be trimmed post application with a sharp Stanley knife.  Our wallpaper can be applied around windows and other obstacles e.g. a bulkhead, heater/ air conditioning unit or electrical outlet using relief cuts.  One relief cut is required at right angles.  Four cuts will be required around rectangular obstacles e.g. electrical outlets.  See our installation video for more information.

How can I use your products? 

Check out our blogs for all the awesome ways that you can use our wallpaper and decals. Because you simply PEEL, STICK and SMOOTH, our products can be used for many applications. Not only can you completely transform a wall, you can also “upcycle” or “hack” a piece of furniture or play kitchen, you can make over a dollhouse or even create a designer cubby house… you are only limited by your imagination.  We use the term 'hack' to describe modifying something to give it new life. We love a good hack!

How do I install your products?

For smaller projects: Peel, stick and smooth… simply peel the backing sheet down around 10cm, being careful not to touch the adhesive. Stick it down, then remove the backing sheet while applying the wallpaper or decal to the wall/ surface.  Smooth your clean hand over the wallpaper/decal to push it flat to the wall.

How do I remove your products?

To remove, use your fingernail or blade of a knife to lift the edge of the wallpaper or decal, then peel back slowly.
